Friends for the Advancement of Music Education are hosting their Annual Music Festival again with a new theme- “Music City” and a new location to host the ever increasing amount of people from year to year.
3 Days of Music from the best Local Bands! Starting on Friday, November 12 at 5 PM to 11 PM; Saturday, November 13- 10:30 AM to 11 PM; and ending with a day of Christian Rock bands on Sunday, November 14- 12:30 to 5:30.
Music on 2 stages, Vendor Booths on 3 ‘lighted streets’, Silent Auction, Kid’s Town (3 bounce houses, Magic Act, Dance Contest, Smokey the Bear show, Carnival Games (6), Snow Cones, Cotton Candy, Water & Soda, Hot Dogs etc.. Beer Trucks (2) & Liquor Bar (Friday & Saturday only). VIP Tent & Parking. 40′ x 80′ hospitality tent (table and chairs for eating for 300app.). Gulf Carts are running for connection to outer parking areas.

53rd Annual Englewood Pioneer Days Parade and Festival on September 07, 2009
The Parade starts at 9 AM on Old Englewood Road and turns onto W. Dearborn Street and has over 80 Floats! After the Parade a Festival is being held at 2 Parks at either end of Dearborn Street with almost 80 Booths- Food, Crafts, Pony Rides etc… 2 Sound stages with 8 different Bands playing thruout the day. Contests for Beard, Eating- Pie, Hot Dog & Watermelon, etc… Many stores and restuarants will be open!!
