Saint Petersburg Preservation Summit

The Historic Pennsylvania Hotel, 300 4th St. N. 7 p.m. The mayoral candidates are also scheduled to speak at a summit sponsored by Saint Petersburg Preservation. The candidates will hear brief presentations from Saint Petersburg Preservation on top preservation issues and programs. Summer Swim Lesson

All city of St. Petersburg pools are open for summer and swim lessons are now available. Morning or evening swim lessons are available for ages 6 months to senior citizens.  Classes are Monday through Thursday, 40 minutes per class for two weeks. Cost per session is $30 for St. Petersburg residents; and $48 for non-residents. Reduced rates are also available for residents with Medicaid, food stamp cards or public school free and reduced lunch status forms. Resident or Non-resident registration card is required for registration. Register at 7:30 a.m. for morning swim lessons and 5:30 p.m. for evening lessons.
