Fiesta del Coqui
September 26 & 27, 2009 10:00 a.m. To 3:00 p.m.
Come to the Zoo for the annual “Fiesta del Coqui” and party with the coqui with live music, crafts and activities, demonstrations and much more celebrating the Hispanic culture. Enjoy fabulous regional cuisines, dance to the sounds of local bands, and be entertained by local dance groups, all celecbrating this tiny frog of Puerto Rico. Join the Central Florida Zoo & Keep Seminole Beautiful at “Death for Dinner” a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. As you begin the evening, actors will greet your and drop hints and clues. Folowing the evening’s performance, you and the evening’s guest will name and vote on the “whodunit”. You won’t want to miss this evening of intrigue and suspense. Proceeds benefit the ZOO and Keep Seminole Beautiful.
Story time at the Zoo
Every Wednesday in October and November 10:00 am to 10:30 am Rainforest Pavilion
Enjoy animal stories along with a special visit from one of our favorite Zoo animals. Programs are presented by the Orange County Library System Storytellers in October and Seminole Country Library System Outreach Specialist will peresent in November. Trick or treat in the wildest neighborhood in town during the Central Florida Zoo’s ZOO Boo Bash. It’s a safe, fun, and not-too-scary event for young and old alike. Kids are invited to bring goodie bags and wear costumes for trick or treat stations. If you forget your costume, face painting will be available.
